The president of the Polish Bishops’ Conference responded harshly to the European Parliament, which recently issued a resolution criticizing a Polish court decision that banned eugenic abortions, Breitbart reported.

Archbishop Stanislaw Gadecki said, There can be no right to kill an innocent person in any democratic legal order,” and further stated that there is no “right to abortion,” a distorted notion promoted by globalist organizations such as the United Nations, and by many leaders of the U.S. Democratic Party.

The right to life “is a fundamental human right; it always has priority over the right to choose, because no person can authoritatively permit the possibility of killing another,” he said.

On Nov. 26, 2020, the European Parliament issued a resolution “on the de facto ban of the right to abortion in Poland” which, as the bishop pointed out, uses “misleading” and certainly contradictory language.

The resolution lists dozens of United Nations resolutions such as “the reproductive rights of women,” “recommendations on adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights,” or the ” International technical guidance on sexuality education,” tools that have been used by globalist organization to introduce abortion as a “right” and destroy the traditional family as the core of society by alienating people from the moral values transmitted by their parents.

The Charter of Fundamental Rights reminds us that “everyone has a right to life,” the archbishop wrote. “The European Union thus recognizes that the inalienable dignity of the human person and respect for the right to life constitute the basic criteria of democracy and the rule of law.”

The European Parliament’s resolution was in response to an Oct. 22 Polish constitutional court ruling that banned “eugenic abortions,” that is, all abortions performed when medical examinations during pregnancy detect that the baby will have a disability or some malformation.

The practice of aborting babies because they will be born with a disability has previously been attributed to the Nazi regime and Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood to eliminate minorities and disabled people.

However, in recent times, because many countries simply adopt the “resolutions” or globalist policies of the United Nations, this has become standard medical practice globally and in countries where abortion is legal, doctors notify parents of possible “malformations” of the baby and suggest the option of aborting the child.

Archbishop Gadecki said the European Parliament’s declaration to protect life is a “falsification of reality” because it ignores the third most important part of the controversy, namely unborn children, and their inalienable right to life.
