As the controversial Beijing 2022 Olympic Games approach, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is reportedly carrying out a “New Cultural Revolution,” according to tweets posted by Chinese–American pastor Bob Fu.

The pastor is part of the China Aid group, which provides legal assistance to Christians living under the CCP regime. In recent days, he published two tweets where he exposes situations that could lead to a “New Cultural Revolution”.

In the first of the tweets dated June 25, 2021, he warns that the CCP is demanding parents and teachers of first graders to hunt down all religious, antagonistic and foreign books,

The second of the tweets is from June 27, 2021, and exposes how “the three-party church” controlled by the CCP chants, “Without the Communist Party, there would be no new China’ with a Communist flag flying. He calls this church #Fakechurch and invites you to watch the video.

For CBN News international correspondent Gary Lane, this goes beyond an attempt to indoctrinate students but has to do with the fact that in February 2022, the Winter Olympics will be held in Beijing, and the CCP does not want any interference.

Lane added that the Chinese regime is afraid of pro-democracy and other types of protests. He also thinks it’s not just a message to students but also adults. They are telling them that they don’t want any foreign influence; they are afraid of pro-democracy ideas from the rest of the world.

When Lane was asked about the difference between this “New Cultural Revolution” and that of Mao Zedong between 1966 and 1979, he said that Mao aimed at any person considered an opponent of the CCP. Then, it was very violent and could have ended the lives of 20 million people, but this new one is less violent and silent.

Lane also mentioned the repression that is happening in Hong Kong. He spoke about the recent closure of the Apple Daily newspaper due to the imprisonment of its founder and other members of the media, accused of “foreign collusion,” and that in this way, the Chinese regime is totally controlling Hong Kong and silencing the voices that ask for democracy.

This action by the CCP is not surprising since it has a bloody history of being responsible for the deaths of more than 80 million people since it took power in China.

One of the biggest targets of this perverse regime are believers since, in essence, communism is atheistic, and during its history, it persecuted all kinds of beliefs, from Buddhists to Christians.

One of the religious groups most punished by the CCP is Falun Dafa, an ancient discipline of the Buddha school that bases its teachings on the universal principles of Truth-Benevolence-Tolerance.

This group has been brutally persecuted by the Chinese regime since 1999 when the then leader Jiang Zemin gave the order to eradicate it.

It was estimated there were 100 million Falun Dafa practitioners, whom Jiang thought he could easily and quickly eliminate. Still, because of their unwavering faith, they managed to resist to this day the violent persecution that includes torture and even forced organ harvesting in military hospitals.
