China Daily, one of the Chinese Communist Party’s propagandists, published an article titled Eradication of extremism has given Xinjiang women more autonomy in which it attempts to disguise the forced sterilization of Uighur women as a process that achieved “gender equality and reproductive health” for Uighur women.

The article states, “In the process of eradicating extremism, the minds of Uigur women were emancipated and gender equality and reproductive health were promoted, making them no long baby-making machines, it said. Women have since been striving to become healthy, confident, and independent.”

In the “fight against extremism” as the Chinese communist regime calls the ethnic cleansing of Muslims in China, women stopped wanting to have large families, which is a concept or practice of Muslim “extremism” according to the report, which denies forced sterilization as the linchpin of this supposed change.

In Breitbart’s words, “Islam encourages people to have big families, and now that the Uighurs have been reprogrammed to embrace Communism as their true faith, their women have ‘more autonomy when deciding whether to have children.'”

Uighur women are threatened with prison or forced labor camps if they refuse to abort their children. They are also forced to use contraceptive methods such as the IUD (intrauterine device) or surgical sterilization to prevent them from having children.

According to a report in The Guardian, a Uighur teacher by the name of Qelbinur Sidik, told how an official threatened her by sending her the following message before going home to perform the forced sterilization, “If anything happens, who will take responsibility for you? Do not gamble with your life, don’t even try. These things are not just about you. You have to think about your family members and your relatives around you. If you fight with us at your door and refuse to collaborate with us, you will go to the police station and sit on the metal chair!”

Sidik recalled that there were long lines of Uighur women waiting at the clinic to have their IUDs inserted, for which they had to pay. However, she noted that there was not one Han woman, the main ethnic group in China.

Adrian Zenz, a German researcher who documented the forced sterilization of Uighurs, reported that from 2018 to 2020 the birth rate in Xinjiang dropped by an alarming 84%, something he called a “ruthless” policy that was “part of a wider control campaign to subjugate the Uighurs.”

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is known for its campaigns to eradicate not only minorities but religious groups and all those who represent a threat to its dictatorship.

In July 1999 former CCP leader Jiang Zemin launched a campaign to eradicate Falun Dafa practitioners. In his directive he called on Party members to “defame their reputation, bankrupt them financially, and destroy them physically.”

Accounts of the torture suffered by Falun Dafa survivors bear witness to a “new form of evil never before seen on this planet,” as Canadian lawyer David Matas described it.

Matas documented the forced removal of organs from living Falun Dafa practitioners that is carried out primarily in CCP’s People’s Liberation Army hospitals for profit.

Since the genocide of Falun Dafa began, 4,609 practitioners have been documented, although due to strict information censorship, the number is estimated to be exponentially higher.
