A Clark Atlanta University student missing for more than a week has been found dead. Her body was found in Dekalb County, Georgia.

Atlanta police Chief Erika Shields said at a news conference that the body of 21-year-old Alexis Crawford was found Friday, Nov. 8, at Exchange Park in Decatur near I-285 and Columbia Drive, The Associated Press reported.

One of the suspects led investigators to the scene, Shields said.

Crawford, 21, was last seen on Oct. 30. Police released surveillance photos of the 21-year-old at a liquor store earlier this week.

The Rev. Markel Hutchins, who has been representing the family since her disappearance, said that Crawford’s family was recently notified, according to 11Alive.

Atlanta Police are holding a news conference to gave an update in the case about at 5 p.m.
