In an email to his supporters, former President Donald Trump stressed the importance of addressing “voting irregularities and fraud” or America’s future would be compromised.
“The Department of Justice (DOJ) is adding more people onto its roles in order to fight against efforts to limit voting and, I assume, other illegal voting acts,” read Trump’s email on Saturday, June 12, reports the Washington Examiner.
Trump was referring to the statement made by Attorney General Merrick Garland of the DOJ a day prior, who declared that the department would scrutinize the voting restrictions bills recently enacted in a slew of GOP-led states “to determine whether they discriminate against Black voters and other voters of color.”
“Where we see violations, we will not hesitate to act,” said Garland of the potential flaws in the new legislation that violates the rights of voting the DOJ aims to protect, reported by NBC News.
From the former president’s viewpoint, even when the DOJ is only going after voting laws, it would be forced to directly stare at the misdeeds that allegedly were committed during the 2020 election.
“Based on that it would seem the DOJ has no choice but to look at the massive voter fraud which took place in certain Swing States, and I assume elsewhere, during the 2020 Presidential Election Scam,” Trump continued.
Claiming that the election fraud was as scandalous as “the Crime of the Century,” he presented the numerous ways ballot results can be manipulated, including “voting machines, underaged people, dead people, illegal aliens, ballot drops, ballot cheating, absentee ballots, post office delivery (or lack thereof!), lock boxes, people being paid to vote, or other things.”
Then he proceeded on the current major issues that the Biden administration is struggling to get hold of, the economy and immigration, to exemplify the urgent need for robust investigation into the November election.
“The voting irregularities and fraud of that election must be brought to light, immediately,” he stated, adding that the sacredness of election integrity plays a key role in America’s future.
“Otherwise, we have no Country, certainly not a great one! This should not be an attempt by the Biden Administration to suppress the accountability of a dishonest election. That cannot be allowed to happen, nor can the events of the Presidential Election.”
Garland’s promise to tackle the moves to enhance future election security by states was also conveyed when he said, “partner with other federal agencies to combat election disinformation that potentially tries to suppress the vote.”
Trump took this assertion as a threat of cancellation, saying that it was an indicator that the officials were aware of the undeniable fraud.
“States cannot allow that to happen and should not be intimidated or suppressed by a government that wants nothing further to do with what took place during that period of time,” Trump said in defense of the states’ effort to impose more security on future elections. “They want it over with because they seem to know what will be found, and that would be a disaster for them.”
“There has never been a time like this in our Country—hopefully courage will prevail!” The former president, who has been confidently insisting that the presidential voting process in 2020 was rigged, concluded in his email.
