The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office confirmed late Wednesday night, sept. 18, that a 15-year-old Magnolia teen, Ryder Skye Cambron, is safe and was not abducted, but ran away.
Cambron was found at a residence in nearby Dobbin, Texas, where she reportedly was hiding from authorities.
“Due to the diligence and hard work of detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, we are pleased to report that Ryder Skye Cambron has been safely located in Dobbin, Texas. She was hiding at a residence and fled prior to detectives’ arrival; however, after a search in a wooded area, Ryder was located and is currently in police care,” the statement continues.
Cambron’s disappearance became the focus of a multiagency investigation Tuesday night after her UTV and cellphone were found in a wooded area near a park in Magnolia.
