The names of the people who unmasked retired Lt. Gen. Flynn in intelligence reports have been publicized, and President Trump is calling for former President Barack Obama to testify.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) has been pressed by the president for Obama to take the stand, given the recent developments with Flynn’s case. Presiding Judge Emmet G. Sullivan however, delayed signing off on the case and is allowing “amicus curiae,” or “friend of the court” submissions and is drawing out the process of signing off on the case, which has been dropped by the DOJ.

The list features top-ranking figures at the time including Vice President Joe Biden, FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and Obama’s chief of staff Denis McDonough, reported Fox News.

“In forty years in this business, I have never seen anything like this,” said former assistant FBI Director Chris Swecker, adding, “You have a bunch of people who are basically spying on U.S. citizens, which is not their mission.”
“If I were a senator or congressman, the first person I would call to testify about the biggest political crime and scandal in the history of the USA, by FAR, is former President Obama,” Trump tweeted Thursday. “He knew EVERYTHING.”

“Do it @LindseyGrahamSC, just do it,” he continued. “No more Mr. Nice Guy. No more talk!” Graham, however, is reluctant to call a former president to the stand.

He said he is “greatly concerned about the precedent that would be set by calling a former president for oversight.”

“No president is above the law,” Graham said in the statement. “However, the presidency has executive privilege claims against other branches of government. … As to the Judiciary Committee, both presidents are welcome to come before the committee and share their concerns about each other. If nothing else it would make for great television. However, I have great doubts about whether it would be wise for the country.”

Graham has said, however, that his panel will “begin holding multiple, in-depth congressional hearings regarding all things related to Crossfire Hurricane starting in early June.”

President Trump on Thursday criticized the former Obama administration over the new revelations regarding “unmasking” retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, saying, “It was the greatest political crime in the history of our country.”

“If I were a Democrat instead of a Republican, I think everybody would have been in jail a long time ago, and I’m talking with 50-year sentences. It is a disgrace what’s happened. This is the greatest political scam, hoax—in the history of our country,” President Trump said during an exclusive interview Thursday with Fox Business’s Business Maria Bartiromo. “People should be going to jail for this stuff and hopefully, a lot of people are going to have to pay.”

He added, “No other president should have to go through, and I’ll tell you, General Flynn and others are heroes, heroes, because what’s happened to them. They weren’t after General Flynn. They wanted him to lie about me. Make up a story.”

Earlier this week, Graham, who has been heading an investigation into the origin of the Russia collusion for several months, said he wants to find out, “how many unmasking requests were made, if any, beyond General Flynn regarding members of the Trump campaign team, family, or associates.”
