President Trump on Sunday, Aug. 11, blasted MSNBC host Donny Deutsch for his new politics show on the network.

The president criticized Deutsch for his failing show while saying the MSNBC host begged him to be on “The Apprentice,” the president’s then reality show.

“So funny to watch Little Donny Deutsch on TV with his own failing show. When I did The Apprentice, Donny would call me (along with @ErinBurnett & others) and BEG to be on that VERY successful show. He had the TV “bug” & I would let him come on though he (& Erin) had very little TV talent,” the president said in a tweet.

“Then, during the 2016 Election, I would watch as Joe Scarborough & his very angry Psycho wife(?) would push Donny to the point of total humiliation. He would never fight back because he wanted to stay on TV, even on a very low rated show, all in the name of ambition!” President Trump continued.

The president’s tweet probably was in response to what Deutsch blamed President Trump supporters on “Morning Joe,” saying “you own the blood that happens,” amid two mass shootings in Paso Texas and Dayton, Ohio that left 31 people killed and many other wounded last week.

“I think that’s the message that’s got to get out there: ‘You own it. You own the blood that happens. You own Charlottesville. You can’t do it. You get the whole package,'” Deutsch said on “Morning Joe.” Deutsch referred to Charlottesville where a white supremacist in 2017 drove a car into a crowd of people on purpose.

Last month, Deutsch also criticized wealthy white people who support Trump, saying “enough is enough.”
