A teen has been arrested in connection to the double murder of a pregnant teenager and her boyfriend on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 28.
According to police, 18-year-old Savannah Fulmer and her boyfriend,19-year-old Dahmir Robinson were found shot dead inside in a car parked on New Orleans Way in McDonough, Georgia, on Thursday, Dec. 5. Both were shot in the head, FOX 5 reported.
Police have also confirmed Fulmer was pregnant at the time. And her unborn child was also killed in the shooting.
On Friday, Dec. 6, investigators arrested Aljahon Joyner, 17, for the murders of Fulmer and Robinson. They said the motive for these murders was a “drug-related robbery.”
Joyner has been charged with two counts of murder, one count of feticide, two counts of armed robbery, and two counts of aggravated assault, as well as related weapons charges.
Fulmer, a senior softball player at Eagles Landing High School, and Robinson, a 2019 graduate of Woodland High School, had been in a relationship for three years. She was expecting their first child.
Fulmer’s coach said the team will retire Fulmer’s number, The Associated Press reported.
