Due to the Biden administration’s open borders policy, there are currently more than 3,300 unaccompanied children in the custody of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to be released into the United States.

Women and children entering the country illegally are one of the main sources of the perverse business of human trafficking, which declined markedly during Donald Trump’s administration.

According to Breitbart, of all immigrant youth currently in DHS custody, almost all of whom will be released into the United States, more than 53% are boys between the ages of 13 and 17.

The domestic security officials plan to take in about 117,000 unaccompanied children into the United States this year, a 290% increase over 2020 totals.

DHS officials seek to transform the southern border into a rapid processing site where aliens can arrive and be quickly released into the U.S. interior.

Trump was a fierce fighter against the scourge of human smuggling

Despite the controversy initiated by the media and fueled by Hollywood celebrities and Democrats, the construction of the wall on the southern border was one of the former president’s most significant milestones in combating human smuggling and human trafficking and protecting Americans.

According to a Townhall report, during his first month in the White House alone, according to FBI statistics, more than 1,500 pedophiles were arrested, compared to only 400 arrests during all of 2014. The following year, more than 2,300 Internet sex traffickers were arrested during “Operation Broken Heart.”

Due to Google’s censorship of conservative news, it is difficult to obtain searches of Trump’s accomplishments, but the number of children and women rescued from human trafficking and human smuggling thanks to Trump, is very significant.

In January 2019 Trump signed an executive order to combat this scourge and earmarked millions of dollars for the cause.

A Washington Examiner analysis also credits the former president with The Migrant Protection Protocol or stay-in-Mexico policy as an effective measure to combat human trafficking.

“Under the old rules, asylum-seekers would be released into the U.S. as they await their court dates, and many would simply not show up to court. By sending asylum claimants back to Mexico, the Trump administration is taking away from human traffickers their most potent selling point,” the analysis states.

All these initiatives from the former president were reported negatively by the media whose viewers were deceived.

Biden rescinded the migrant protection protocol, opened the borders and canceled construction of the wall.

These open border policies and looking at the alarming number that DHS expects to receive of unaccompanied children to release into the United States, raises deep concerns regarding potential child smuggling and human trafficking as traffickers again will have their sources reinstated.
