Well-known New York ex-Mayor Rudy Giuliani threatened to sue Fox News host Steve Hilton, who attacked him calling him a “con man” and a “toxic chump.”

Hilton’s harsh statement against Giuliani occurred during the Dec. 1 program “The Next Revolution.”

“To put it simply, he’s been trying to enrich himself on the back of his relationship with President Trump,” Hilton said of Giuliani.

Giuliani, who is also an attorney for President Donald Trump, was very angry and regretted that Hilton “recklessly disregarded the truth.”

“I have not taken a penny for representing my friend, President Trump. I am outraged that @SteveHiltonx reported that I was trying to pursue private business deals in Ukraine to “enrich” myself, when in reality I have made ZERO in Ukraine! Very lazy reporting!”

In another of his tweets Giuliani said that thanks to him Hilton was able to report on Burisma: “He should apologize for his maliciousness and thank me for the story,” he emphasized in one of his messages.

Here Giuliani alluded to the fact that he was the one who alerted everyone to the activities of former Vice President Joe Biden and the involvement of his son Hunter Biden on the board of Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian energy company investigated for corruption by former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin.

The reference to the former vice president and his son occurs during the controversial impeachment by the Democrats against President Donald Trump.

The impeachment is based on the testimony of an intelligence agent who accused the president of pressuring Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy to investigate former Democratic Vice President Joe Biden and his son [under suspicion of corruption] during a phone call on July 25.

After investigating and hearing the witnesses no evidence has been provided that President Trump failed to live up to his responsibilities.

The professional and political career of former Mayor Giuliani showed him to be an effective prosecutor who fought the Mafia, corrupt police, and drug traffickers.

As mayor of New York he worked on the cleanup of the city and the uprising of the Big Apple after the devastation of the 9/11 attacks.
