Left-wing billionaires George Soros and Michael Bloomberg have just begun their investment career in Georgia’s runoff election by seeking to support Democratic candidates Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff. Georgia’s decisive elections will determine which party controls the Senate next year.
The Black PAC, a capital fund financed by leftist millionaires, aims to boost the vote of black citizens. It recently reported that it spent $300,000 on campaigning for the two Democratic candidates Warnock and Ossoff in the Georgia runoff election.
The Black PAC played a very active role in the presidential election, seeking to mobilize the masses of black voters to vote for their candidate Joe Biden, injecting thousands and thousands of dollars and actions aimed at offering incentives to black citizens to vote for the Democratic candidate.
So far the PAC has not participated in the Senate race, but it recently made its announcement with the first disbursement of money.
Ossoff and Warnock, have a difficult challenge after moving to the runoff in the election that will determine on Jan. 5 whether Democrats or Republicans win the majority. They will surely feel some relief, they have the help of big left-wing millionaires like Soros and Bloomerg who are willing to invest millions of dollars to get their representatives in the Senate into power.
According to The Washington Free Beacon, the latest fiscal presentations of the Black PAC indicate that during the presidential campaign, the group raised $23.5 million and spent $12.5 million by mid-October.
In addition to the Black PAC, there are many groups financed by left-wing millionaires who defend the interests of the Democratic Party, and they have already begun to support candidates in Georgia. Their participation is expected to increase considerably as we approach the Jan. 5 elections.
At the same time, the group aligned with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has just announced that it would invest $5 million more to boost Democratic candidates Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock.
In any case, the last elections showed that capital investments do not guarantee electoral success. According to Fox Business reports, billionaire and former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg invested more than $100 million in the key states of Florida, Ohio, and Texas in pursuit of the victory of his Democratic candidate Joe Biden. But despite the efforts, President Trump, with much more austere spending, was victorious in all three states.
Even in the final days of the campaign, Bloomberg was willing to spend millions on his super PAC Independence USA, allocating $3.7 million in television ads to build support for Biden in several major Ohio cities, including Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo, and Youngstown.
The same PAC also spent more than $36 million in Florida between September and November alone and $6.9 million in ads that aired in Texas.
As TheBL reported in October, billionaire Mike Bloomberg reportedly spent more than $16 million exclusively to pay the fines and fees for nearly 32,000 convicted criminals in Florida. The goal of the businessman and Democratic politician was for these people, black and Latino, to vote for Joe Biden in the Nov. 3 presidential election.
