A man allegedly stabbed five co-workers with a folding knife at a business in Tallahassee, Florida, on Wednesday morning, Sept. 11, before he was taken into custody, authorities said.
The five victims were provided immediate medical attention and rushed to a local hospital. They are expected to survive, interim Police Chief Steven Outlaw said at a news conference.
Police arrested the suspect, 41-year-old Antwann Demetris Brown working as an employee of Dyke Industries, a company that provides materials for residential and commercial buildings.
Brown, arrived for work around 8 a.m. and was involved in some kind of verbal dispute before the stabbing.
While Outlaw said a motive is unclear, but also said Brown was apparently targeting specific people.
Brown had worked at Dyke Industries for about 3.5 months and didn’t seem to have any pending employment problems, Outlaw said.
