A California educator admitted he instils leftist ideology in his students, and recruits them to join extracurricular protests on Aug. 31.

Inderkum High School teacher Gabriel Gipe was caught on camera boasting about misusing his authority to quickly radicalize impressionable youth.

“I have 180 days to turn them into revolutionaries … scare the [expletive] out of them,” he said in the video obtained by conservative research organization Project Veritas.

The teacher convinced students to join protests and rewarded them with extra marks for reflecting leftist values in assessable material.

“I post a calendar every week,” he can be heard saying. “I have had students show up for protests, community events, tabling, food distribution, all sorts of things … [and] when they go, they take pictures, they write up a reflection–that is their extra credit.”

Gipe even claimed he steered students towards leftist thinking during short tests.

“They take an ideology quiz and I put [the results] on the [classroom] wall,” he said. “Every year, they get further and further left … I am like, ‘These ideologies are considered extreme, right [and] extreme times breed extreme ideologies, right?’ There is a reason why Generation Z, these kids, are becoming further and further left.”

Project Veritas also published photos that seem to be inside Gipe’s classroom. A poster of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) founder Mao Zedong and flag bearing the Antifa logo are prominently displayed.

The teacher revealed he once shamed a student for disagreeing with hanging the flag.

“I have an Antifa flag on my [classroom] wall and a student complained about that–he said it made him feel uncomfortable,” he said. “This [flag] is meant to make fascists feel uncomfortable.”

He then accused the student of holding extreme views.

“If you feel uncomfortable, I do not really know what to tell you,” he said. “Maybe you should not be aligning with the values that this [Antifa flag] is antithetical to.”

When asked for his views on the CCP, Gipe claimed the lessons of China’s Cultural Revolution–which killed an estimated 30 million–could change the United States for the better.

“You need a two-pronged system, which is exactly what Huey Newton and Fred Hampton [Black Panther Party] understood,” he said. “You need propaganda of the deed, your economics, and cultural propaganda as well. You [also] need to retrain the way people think, so the Cultural Revolution in the [19]60s was fixing the problem that came about after the economic one.”

Gipe also suggested left-leaning movements across America should target cultural and economic fronts, and create power structures parallel to the state.

“Consistently focusing on education and a change of cultural propaganda, we have to hit both fronts,” he said. “We have to convince people that this is what we actually need.”

The teacher revealed at least three other faculty members share his views.

“I have met so many people in my life who, when they met me, thought I was off the wall–and now they are all Marxists,” he said in the video. “I am probably as far left as you can go.”

When questioned about the video contents neither Gipe, Inderkum High School, nor the Natomas Unified School District responded to Fox News’s request for comment.

Former teacher Carol Swain previously revealed on Fox News that parents are not indifferent to indoctrination in class. Concerned parent groups are fighting “critical race theory” and other left-leaning curriculums across the United States.
