Former NFL legend Herschel Walker has been friends with President Trump for more than three decades, he believes there has been a recent shift to the right in communities, and he is part of that movement. He is keen for Americans to know the type of person the president really is, and also what is really behind Black Lives Matter.

Speaking with Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures,” Walker explained how he was suddenly struck by something he had heard many times before, but it hadn’t sunk in, until now. Walker said he has heard something about BLM, “probably a million times,” but suddenly the lights turned on for him.

Both co-founders, Patrisse Cullors and Alicia Garza have referred to themselves as “trained Marxists,” said Walker.

“I felt so guilty because I always consider myself a person, to tell the truth,” he said. “And I said, I haven’t been telling the American people the truth because … I didn’t hear anyone ever tell me that [they were] a trained Marxist.”

Cullors said, in an interview with Jared Ball of The Real News Network, “We are super-versed on, sort of, ideological theories. And I think that what we really tried to do is build a movement that could be utilized by many, many black folk,” as reported by The New York Post.

Walker said if people want to promote Marxism that is their business as America is a free country, however, Americans need to know the truth.

“All you athletes out there, all you companies, all you professional teams that’s promoting BLM. Are you telling me that you’re promoting someone that said that they’re trained Marxists?” he asked and made the point that they do not believe in American values, nor religion.

Walker defended the president against all the slurs that are thrown his way, as he is not the man they often make him out to be.

“I’ve known him for 37 years,” he said. “The truth is he is not a racist. The truth is he loves the United States of America. I’m tired of people listening to his tweets saying that that’s the type of man he is because he’s not. Look at the action that he does.”

“I’m a guy who believes in the Lord Jesus. I believe in my family. And I love America,” he added. “So I’m going to fight for it. I’m going to do what I can to tell the people the truth.”
