Forming a circle, these protesters were seen burning the American flag and chanting, “America was never great,” right outside a fundraiser for President Trump in Beverly Hills, on Tuesday, Sept. 17.
Gregg Donovan, a Trump supporter, could not hold his emotion over the burnt flag.
“The burning of the flag really hurt,” he told KCBS.
Donovan had no choice but to wait outside the fundraiser with a sign to show support for President Trump. He told the television station he was unable to attend the fundraiser because of the extreme protesters.
Harim Uzziel, another supporter for the president, was punched and attacked by one of the group. He was wearing a red “Keep America Great.”
“I didn’t know what was going on,” Harim Uzziel told KABC. “I saw a scuffle in between. One of them came to the sidewalk and he started punching me and attacking me. I had a camera in each hand so I wasn’t able to defend myself.”
Trump supporters said the protesters were suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” (TDS) as a way of “reframing” the discussion by suggesting his opponents are incapable of accurately perceiving the world, according to Wikipedia.
These groups have been committing violent acts that are a clear and present danger to the United States, the incident above is the latest example of TDS.
