After the Supreme Court dismissed the Pennsylvania election fraud lawsuit, arguing, “it is dismissed as moot,” Justice Clarence Thomas noted, “Citizens deserve better,” on Feb. 22.
The lawsuit was brought by then-president Donald Trump, who provided evidence that state officials had changed election rules, suppressing legislators’ powers and thus favoring the opponent.
Justices Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch joined Justice Thomas’s dissent.
“One wonders what the Court waits for,” Thomas wrote. “We failed to settle this dispute before the election and thus provide clear rules. Now we again fail to provide clear rules for future elections.”
For Thomas, the Supreme Court’s failure to intervene in the fraudulent electoral situation presented in the 2020 presidential election is incomprehensible and harmful.
He adds: “The decision to leave election law hidden beneath a shroud of doubt is baffling. By doing nothing, we invite further confusion and erosion of voter confidence”.
He also said, “Our fellow citizens deserve better and expect more from us. I respectfully dissent.”
For his part, Justice Alito also argued why he disagrees with the Supreme Court concept and supports Justice Thomas.
“I agree with JUSTICE THOMAS that we should grant review in these cases. They present an important and recurring constitutional question: whether the Elections or Electors Clauses of the United States Constitution, Art. I, §4, cl. 1; Art. II, §1, cl. 2, are violated when a state court holds that a state constitutional provision overrides a state statute governing how a federal election is to be conducted,” Alito explained.
For many of the citizens who expected the Supreme Court to analyze the case demanding redress of electoral integrity, violated in the terms set forth by Justice Thomas, the highest court failed in the performance of its duties.
“The Supreme Court Justices failed to uphold their path to the Constitution. They catered to this administration by sitting on their laurels,” considered Twitter user @bushgeorgeorgew.

For his part, Internet user @BarbYork5 demanded: “The Supreme Court is, or should be, the protection for American citizens against those who wish to destroy our Constitution. They ALL took oaths to uphold and protect the U.S. Constitution. Do your job!!.
