A Manhattan teen was slashed in the face while heading home from school, police said Thursday, Feb. 13.

On Tuesday, Feb. 11, the 14-year-old girl, from Fort George, was riding an M191 bus with a group of teens when they got into a verbal dispute with an unknown group of females on the bus, PIX 11 reported.

When the teens got off the bus, New York Police said they were confronted by a group of males, in addition to the females from the bus.

A 17-year-old victim had her phone stolen while the 14-year-old victim was slashed across the face by a male with a cutter.

Surveillance video from the area captured the male who slashed the teen.

The 14-year-old was taken to the hospital where she underwent surgery for the laceration to her face, officials said, according to ABC7NY.
