President Donald Trump’s approval rating reached 50% on July 31 and continued its upward trajectory, according to a survey conducted by the Rasmussen Reports.
The results presented by the participants of the opinion poll returned to the level obtained in February, when the devastating effect of the CCP (Communist Party of China) Virus on the economy and other aspects of the nation’s life were not yet felt.
Rasmussen continues with the traditional daily measure of the president’s performance, which technically has a confidence level of 95%. The administration’s disapproval rate is 48%.
President Trump shared the results on his Twitter account.
“We just got 50% in Rasmussen, and much higher in our internal polls. We are doing a new ad campaign on “Sleepy” Joe Biden that will be out on Monday. He has been brought even further LEFT than Crazy Bernie Sanders ever thought possible. By the way, Bernie’s people love me on Trade!” Trump wrote.

In addition to the harmful effect of the CCP Virus, the riots caused by the death of African-American George Floyd of Minneapolis on May 25 also wreaked havoc.
Polling figures tend to be of some significance in the run-up to the presidential election, scheduled for Nov. 3, despite being controversial.
Although some of them show Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden scoring higher than President Trump, both he and his re-election campaign managers question these results.
President Trump on July 19 rejected a Fox News poll that showed Biden leading him nationally by eight points, 49% to 41%.
“First of all, I’m not losing, because those are fake polls,” Trump said. “They were fake in 2016 and now they’re even more fake,” the president emphasized, calling the poll one of the worst.
“I have other polls that put me leading, and we have polls where I’m leading. I have a poll where we’re leading in every swing state” he added.
On the same occasion, he referred to his opponent, Biden, questioning his ability to adequately perform the role of president of the United States.
“I would say that he is not competent to be president. To be president, you have to be sharp and tough and many other things. He doesn’t even come out of his basement,” considered Trump.
