Fox News contributor John Solomon has discovered documents that were omitted from the whistleblower’s complaint, information that shows Ukrainian officials had opened a new probe into the firm linked to Hunter Biden several months before President Donald Trump’s phone call with the Ukrainian president.

Solomon said on Tuesday, Oct. 8, that the U.S. government was aware earlier this year that Ukraine had plans to reopen the investigation into Burisma Holdings, an energy company under which former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter was on the board of directors.

The report is particularly noteworthy as Democrats accused President Trump of threatening to withhold foreign aid to Ukraine, in July, unless its new president probed into the company and Hunter Biden’s dealings there.

“I can confirm to you tonight that the U.S. government … was aware as early as February of 2019 that the Ukrainian government was planning to reopen the Burisma investigation,” Solomon told Fox News host Sean Hannity on Tuesday evening.

“This is long before the president imagined having a call with President Zelenskiy. In fact, it’s before President Zelenskiy was even elected. This is a significant shift in the factual timeline. This was information that was omitted from the whistleblower’s complaint.”

Solomon also noted that Hunter Biden was reportedly paid as much as $1 million each year for sitting on the board, but investigators in Ukraine filed a 15-page “notice of suspicion” indicating they were “looking at the possibility that the $3.4 million paid to Hunter’s firm may have been part of the illicit funds that were moving through the company.”

“On March 28, 2019, the prosecutor general’s office agreed to that request to open an investigation, and they filed a 15-page notice of suspicion alleging that there may be illicit funds that were running through Burisma from 2010 and all the way through 2015. That’s important. Hunter Biden is on the board for two of those years—2014 and 2015.”

“A month later in April, the prosecutor’s office … made a request of another investigative agency in Ukraine for assistance in going through these bank records,” Solomon added.

“That’s a significant change in the timeline,” Solomon said. “It was omitted from the whistleblower’s complaint and the question is, did he not know it or did he exclude it because it didn’t fit the narrative he was trying to write? That’s a question for Congress to answer.”

The New York Times has confirmed, “The prosecutor general, Ruslan Ryaboshapka, said he intended to review 15 cases in all, and mentioned several high-profile investigations of wealthy Ukrainians, including the owner of the natural gas company, Burisma Holdings, where Mr. Biden’s son Hunter served on the board until earlier this year.”

A report by BizPacReview pointed out that, all of the evidence at hand thus far, including Solomon’s Tuesday report in addition to Zelenskiy and Ryaboshapka’s confirmations that Trump has not pressured Ukraine—all disprove the whistleblower’s complaint and thus the impeachment narrative fabricated by House Democrats and what their media allies have been generating.
