Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden exploded Friday, Oct. 4, when a journalist asked him if there was a conflict of interest when his son worked for a Ukrainian energy company while he was vice president of the United States.

Hunter Biden was hired in 2014 by Burisma Holding, an oil and gas giant with an exorbitant salary of $50,000 per month when he had no experience in either the energy sector or doing business in Ukraine.

According to Peter Schweizer, a senior contributor to Breitbart News, in his book “Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friend,” Hunter Biden took office at about the same time his father was elected to lead the Obama administration’s policy in Ukraine.

Asked by a journalist during a campaign stop in Los Angeles on Friday about a possible conflict of interest in hiring his son, for the Ukrainian energy company during his vice presidency, the Democratic candidate responded visibly upset:

“It’s not a conflict of interest. There’s been no indication of any conflict of interest from Ukraine or anywhere else. Period. I’m not going to respond to that.”

Earlier, Joe Biden proudly recounted during a conference with foreign policy experts in March 2018 how he succeeded in removing Ukraine’s prosecutor general by threatening Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, to withhold a $1 billion loan the United States had promised him.

At the time, Ukrainian prosecutor general Viktor Shokin was investigating the energy company where Hunter Biden worked, The Hill reported.

The new prosecutor general appointed by Ukrainian President Yuriy Lutsenko, whom Biden called “solid,” received from the U.S. ambassador to Kyiv a list of names and institutions that should not be investigated, Lutsenko told The Hill in a recent interview.

Connection with Soros

Interestingly, among those names was an ‘anti-corruption’ association called OCCRP, the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project funded by the Open Society Foundation of the controversial financial speculator George Soros, attorney Victoria Toensing told Fox News.

Ukraine’s entire story is splashed with connections to Soros, from the time of Barack Obama’s term to the anonymous intelligence officer’s complaint that House Democrats, led by Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff, have based President Donald Trump’s impeachment.

Earlier this week Donald Trump Jr., accused Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff on Twitter of being a mere “puppet” for George Soros.

Ukraine could investigate the Biden

Just hours before Biden refused to answer the journalist’s question, the new Ukrainian prosecutor general announced that he would reopen the investigation against Burisma Holding, which was closed in 2016 following the dismissal of prosecutor Shokin, due, according to Biden himself, to his own pressure.

“We are now reviewing all the cases, which were closed, fragmented, or investigated earlier in order to make a decision on cases where illegal procedural decisions were taken,” Ruslan Ryaboshapka, the new Ukrainian prosecutor general, said at a press conference according to Breitbart.

However, Biden continues to try to divert attention from his personal and family ties to President Trump.

“Let’s focus on the problem, let’s focus on this man, on what he’s doing, that no president has ever done,” Biden said on Friday.

Many people see the whole Ukraine issue as an attempted coup by the Democratic Party to evict Donald Trump from the White House in the face of the Democratic Party’s poor prospects for a victory in 2020.
