In a November 2019 YouTube video titled “Draining The Swamp,” President Trump said, “Our movement is about replacing a failed and corrupt political establishment with a new government controlled by you, the American people. The Washington establishment and the financial and media corporations that fund it, exist for only one reason: to protect and enrich itself. The establishment has trillions of dollars at stake in this election. For those who control the levers of power in Washington and for the global special interests, they partner with these people that don’t have your good in mind. Our campaign represents a true existential threat like they haven’t seen before. This is not simply another four-year election. This is a crossroads in the history of our civilization that will determine whether or not, we the people reclaim control over our government. The political establishment that is trying to stop us is the same group responsible for our disastrous trade deals, massive illegal immigration, and economic and foreign policies that have bled our country dry. The political establishment has brought about the destruction of our factories and our jobs as they flee to Mexico, China, and other countries all around the world. It’s a global power structure that is responsible for the economic decisions that have robbed our working class, stripped our country of its wealth, and put that money into the pockets of a handful of large corporations and political entities. This is a struggle for the survival of our nation and this will be our last chance to save it. This election will determine whether we are a free nation or whether we only have the illusion of democracy but are in fact, controlled by a small handful of global special interests rigging the system and our system is rigged. This is reality. You know it. They know it. I know it and pretty much the while world knows it.”

According to a well-known Dutch history lesson from the 19th century, a little boy spots a leak in the Haarlem dike that held back the ocean, sounds the alarm, and plugs the leak with his finger just in time. The Dutch boy’s altruism prevented the dike from breaching and flooding the city thus saving many lives and great expense to his country men. The story was actually invented by the American novelist Mary Mapes Dodge in 1865 in her book called Hans Brinker, but the Dutch are so fond of the fiction, they have many statues of the boy and his finger. And just like our altruistic man in the White House, our fully matured ‘Dutch Boy’ hero has also arrived in the nick of time. As he just illustrated, our once great federal and state governments have completely degenerated into a failed and corrupt swamp-like establishment that, along with the financial and media corporations that fund it, exist for the sole purpose of self-protection and self-enrichment to the determent of us all and our great constitutional republic. Moreover, unscrupulous elements have built a beaver dam that has flooded our American promised land and transformed our once free flowing small honest government into a muddy confusing oversized swamp of corruption.

As we stand on the precipice of the total destruction of our country from within, America, the greatest achievement of Western civilization, and all that we hold dear, we are about to witness the dawn of a new day in the historical drama of American Exceptionalism as we rain down justice on those evil swamp dwellers like never before. While the task is indeed monumental, we shall persevere and we shall over come. But really, how did we get here? I’m Matt Tullar and here’s my opinion and please be sure to comment and share this video/article. Help us improve and get the word out to as many as possible. Thank you. First of all, I’d like to be clear that nether myself nor The Beauty of Life, better known as, which I represent and work for, does not receive any money from the Trump administration nor do we give them any money. I just strongly feel that President Trump not only has the most accurate handle on what’s happening with our government but also he’s our best hope to right this awful wrong, push back the evil forces at work here, and make America great again. In this multipart series called “Drain The Swamp, The Way It Is For Now” will examine various aspects of this obvious and endemic government corruption and how it easily explains some of the seemingly insane modern political behavior as well as some absolutely necessary solutions – Part 1 is called Promised Land Beaver Dam.||c5c1ad20b__

Unfortunately, many of us, including myself, who received the one size fits all inferior American public education taught by socialists, are at a particular disadvantage when it comes to recognizing not only our civic responsibility to our country but also our culpability for allowing the American government to degenerate into its current ugly state of affairs. We just didn’t know any better. Very few of us were taught the true story of our country’s history and how it really was a manifestation of the biblical land of Canaan, the land of milk and honey, and the Promised Land of the free and home of the brave. How, for the first almost 150 years, the United States experienced some of our most remarkable human achievements ever with almost no tax on labor and definitely no socialism. Free market capitalism practiced by a hardworking God-fearing moral people, mostly immigrants from Europe, built a wilderness into a global superpower producing some of the wealthiest men of all time while also improving the living standards of more people than ever before. And, in spite of way too much wicked socialism, we are still lifting people out of poverty all over the world.

According to a 2017 article, Congress first enacted a flat income tax to pay for the American Civil War in 1862 and then repealed it in 1872 after the U.S. Supreme court declared it unconstitutional. Congress tried again to tax labor in 1894 with the same results in 1895, so we had no real draconian income tax on a man’s labor until the passage of the 16th Amendment in 1913 under the socialist President Woodrow Wilson. Before then, Americans generally kept all the money they earned and relied on their good nature and moral upbringing to foster a strong sense of responsibility to their local community as the only necessary social safety net. This kept the size of government small, the cost of it way down, and the behavior of the government and our unburdened citizen, generally better than ever before. A good people with good behavior.

Americans of the 1800s were generally a compassionate self-reliant people who understood the value of giving and inspired many of the great modern private charities of today. Millions did extremely well and it was reflected in everything they did. Christian white men fought and won a war to end slavery with, by a wide margin, more American casualties than any war in history. In the 19th century, the general public generally understood the true value of conforming to virtuous Judeo-Christian principles, being generous neighbors, and faithful churchgoers. Visit any American city or town established in the 1800s or before and witness the stunning carpentry and impressive architecture, especially churches, built by a humble hardworking people that still stand, to this day, as a testament to their success and their righteous caring attitude. They and their children cared and it showed.

But you won’t learn that in American public schools. They’ve been busy as beavers overselling the phony value of universal access to education, maintaining their monopoly that chokes out private sector schools, and building beaver dams that transformed the promised land into a muddy swamp of corruption. Leveraging seeming unlimited tax dollars, they focus on the controversy of Christopher Columbus, the ruthless robber baron, the exploitation of child labor, the displaced American Indian, the rotten slave owners, and big lies that make false claims like the New Deal fixed the Great Depression and that man made climate change is real and going to kill us all in 12 years. It’s generally a disgraceful bunch of twisted leftist dribble that ignores the obvious legacy of ornate buildings, stunning churches, amazing bridges, incredible canals dug by hand, an extensive network of railroads, gigantic steel mills, and countless factories all built by successful capitalists and hardworking free men. That’s how we came to be the most powerful country in the world and one of the best on the planet.

However, in 1963, the liberal U.S. Supreme Court of Chief Justice Warren banned school prayer and Bible reading in our public schools and inadvertently established secularism or the social or political process of rejecting all forms of religious faith as the religion of the land. This elimination of any religious elements with-in public education and other civic institutions and the fact that public schools are a socialist monopoly that mandates attendance, leveraged our tax money to sabotage the moral foundation of America and allowed the evil of socialism to undermine the behavior of our citizens and the accomplishments of our forefathers. With this progressive impairment of our God fearing moral compass, the evil temptations of life on earth affected many more people more often especially those involved with our government and our traditional media watchdogs. Today, between the morally bankrupt nature of secularism and the wicked lies of socialism taught in our schools, we have badly damaged the general good character of our citizens. Observe how the eve of All Saint’s Day has degenerated into an $8 billion mass celebration of the Devil sold to our children with candy.

This year, CBS News reported, “For years, Halloween was a night of pranks. Costumes kept the tricksters anonymous and they were terrifying, but mischief devolved into vandalism. So communities organized-costumed get togethers to keep their children distracted with candy. By the 1950s, Halloween was a childrens’ holiday. While children will wear spooky or cute costumes tomorrow night, according to the national retail foundation, the number of Americans age 24 and under who plan to dress up for Halloween is 90%. In fact, the only holiday where more money is spent is Christmas. It doesn’t matter how old you are, this idea of ghosts and haunts and a sense of mystery is exciting so that’s why it’s become this 8 plus billion dollar industry.” And what would our forefathers think of this modern phenomenon? Well you can bet they would have thought it a great abomination and a clear, at least partial, explanation for the corrupt state of our government and why we elected President Obama twice. But real the fight to save our country has only just begun. Here’s how President Trump chose to address the problem just this week at a campaign rally in Lexington, Kentucky.

President Trump said, “He’s so incredible and he’s become a really good friend and I want to have him come up for a second, Rand Paul, your senator, a great warrior.”
U.S. Senator Paul said, “President Trump has great courage. He faces down the fake media everyday, but Congress needs to step up and have equal courage to defend the President. Hunter Biden made $50,000 a month. That’s the definition of corruption. We know he got it only because of his family connections. We also now know the name of the whistleblower. The whistleblower needs to come before Congress as a material witness because he worked for Joe Biden at the same time that Hunter Biden was getting money from corrupt oligarchs. I say tonight to the media, do your job and print his name!” Next time will explore various examples of government corruption in more detail in Drain The Swamp – P2: A Guide to Corruption.
