Rap star Ice Cube accused CNN of canceling an upcoming interview they had scheduled, after news broke that he is working with the Trump campaign on an economic plan to help black Americans.

According to Neon Nettle, the rapper was supposed to be interviewed on CNN’s “Cuomo Prime Time” when, according to reports, the network suddenly canceled the invitation.

The fact was made known by the rapper himself who wrote on his Twitter account on Thursday night, “So the POWERS that be cancelled my interview on @CuomoPrimeTime tonight. But it seems like they can’t handle the truth.”

The rapper also published that he was not surprised by the fact, considering that CNN had previously suspended him for several months.

Interestingly, the suspension of the interview came just a day after it was revealed that the Trump administration was working together with Ice Cube on the Platinum Plan, aimed at improving the quality of life of African Americans.

Trump 2020 adviser Katrina Pierson was the one who communicated on social networks that Ice Cube was officially collaborating with them.

“Shoutout to @icecube for his willingness to step up and work with @realDonaldTrump Administration to help develop the #PlatinumPlan. Leaders gonna lead, haters gonna hate. Thank you for leading!” Katrina Pierson wrote on her Twitter account.

The Platinum Plan was created by the Trump administration to design ways in which it will help the development of the black population in the United States in the event that Trump is re-elected.

The plan includes promises to brand the KKK and antifa as terrorist organizations, increase security in predominantly African American neighborhoods, and create 3 million jobs for the black community by strengthening President Trump’s immigration policies to protect American jobs, among other things. Nearly $500 billion was pledged for the plan’s policies.

In August Ice Cube presented the CWBA Plan (A Contract With Black America), which is a nonviolent action plan that has as its main objective to address racial inequality in the United States.

The CWBA was presented to both the Democratic and Republican parties and in the words of Ice Cube it was undeserved by the Democrats who responded simply that they would check it out when they were in power. The Trump administration responded quickly and even made modifications to the Platinum Plan after talking to the Ice Cubes and CWBA organizers.
