A Democrat from California threatened to hold a grudge against black Americans who help give the president another four years in the Oval Office.
Rep. Maxine Waters vowed to permanently resent African Americans who vote for President Donald Trump at the general election on Nov. 3.
“For those black young men, who think somehow they can align themselves with Trump, not only are they terribly mistaken,” she told SiriusXM’s “Joe Madison Show’” podcast. “Any of them showing their face, I will never, ever forgive them for undermining the possibility to help their own people and their own communities.”
Waters described the president’s growing popularity among African Americans as hurtful.
“It just hurts me so bad to see blacks talking about supporting Trump, I do not know why they would be doing it, I do not know why it is on their minds,” she said. “It is absolutely unconscionable, it is shameful.”
Waters revealed the Democratic Party is urgently trying to appeal more to black American voters because this demographic could help President Trump win a second term.
“If we do not turn out this vote and turn it out huge, this man could end up winning again and this country would go backwards,” she said.
She strangely accused the same voters, who she was trying to attract to the Democratic Party, of being unknowledgeable and even mentally challenged.
“Many of these young men [are] not really understanding how these systems work and what we have done to improve the systems,” she said. “They are crazy, they are not going to get a dime from these [GOP] people … even in order to get the president to sign anything and he is not going to sign a darn thing for them.”
Waters then claimed the president was prejudiced against people belonging to another race, even though she had just stated a growing number of African Americans support him.
“[The president] is a racist, he does not have any appreciation for black people and black women in particular,” she said. “He has talked about it so bad, he has talked about [the late] John Lewis so bad, he has talked about Kamala [Harris] so bad, he has no respect for us, he is not doing anything for us.”
African American rapper Curtis Jackson—also known as 50 Cent—previously declared to his 26 million social media followers that he is voting for President Trump. He made the decision shortly after reviewing Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s tax plan, which would tax hardworking Californians up to 62.6 percent of their total earnings if they earned more than $400,000 annually.
50 Cent also revealed he is not bothered by mainstream media reports that accuse President Trump of being racist.
“I do not care [if President] Trump does not like black people,” he said on Instagram.
