Attacks against Brett Kavanaugh continue with the protest of the leftist’s activist on Sunday, Oct. 6, and Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) joined the event as speaker. The event targeted the anniversary of Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the United States Supreme Court.
A similar protest was held on the Capitol Hill in 2018 with hundreds arrested and charged with unlawfully demonstrating.
In her speech, Pressley vented her anger on the accusations of sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh, despite his denials and the fact that neither the Senate Judiciary Committee nor the FBI were able to find corroborating evidence or witnesses to any of the allegations leveled against him.
Recently Justice Kavanaugh had to confront another allegation of sexual harassment pushed forward by The New York Times.
That media later faced strong criticism for deliberately omitting the information that the involved woman did not remember the incident ever happening in their smear article.
Mark Paoletta, former assistant White House counsel to President George H.W. Bush has described the attacks on Kavanaugh as “outrageous” but also not “unprecedented.”
“Unfortunately, I see the new attacks on Kavanaugh–during the confirmation process and after–as rooted in the tactics the Left used during the Clarence Thomas confirmation. They are eerily similar. It shows that this is their weapon of choice,” Paoletta, now working for the Trump administration, exclusively told Fox News.
The leftist group Demand Justice, playing a pivotal role in running anti-Kavanaugh campaigns, was recently exposed by the Capital Research Center.
