However, China’s four major telecom operators warned users. eSIM is still not supported on iPhone 14 bought from the United States. In other words, the U.S. iPhone 14 can be bought but not used in China.

Unexpectedly, the U.S. version of the iPhone 14 abandons the physical SIM card and fully adopts eSIM. China’s four major telecom operators, China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom, and China Radio and Television, stated that they do not support eSIM services.
On September 10, Congress warned that Apple would face the U.S. government if it ordered chips for the new iPhone 14 smartphone from Yangtze Memory Technologies Co (YMTC)
RSenator Marco Rubio, the vice chairman of the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee, said, ‘If Apple continues like this, it will be subject to unprecedented scrutiny from the federal government.’
Although buying the iPhone 14 in the United States has a price advantage, China still uses nanoSIM cards, not eSIM yet.
