Navy Secretary Carlos Del Toro said the U.S. military recently deployed the F35B on Japan’s Izumo aircraft carrier.

In addition, he also noted that all allies and partners had deployed platforms with the same capability as the U.S. platforms, and they could participate in an amphibious ready group.

The House Committee on Armed Services recently said that the Chinese military could attack Taiwan within five years. Hence, the U.S. needs to establish a more extensive naval fleet and maintain its presence in the Indo-Pacific.
