China Evergrande Group said on Tuesday, March 29, that it had set up an independent investigation committee.

It examines the assets of its subsidiary, Evergrande Property Services, which the relevant banks seized.

The relevant banks hold 13.4 billion yuan ($2.11 billion) of Evergrande Property Services.

The chairman of the independent investigation committee was Chau Shing Yim, David. And two other non-executive directors were He Qi and Liang Senlin as members.

The holding amount was found during the company’s financial report review for the year that ended on December 31, 2021.
